Demonstrate your skills and advance your career by earning a POST Certificate
For each of the five areas of specialty, students are required to complete eight courses by passing each End-of-Course Examination with a minimum score of 75%. These include three common core courses, two electives, and three courses specific to their own POST area of specialization.
In addition, to earn the POST Certificate, students must pass a Comprehensive Examination. Each student's Comprehensive Examination will consist of 80 questions pertaining equally to each of the eight courses completed. Students have two attempts to pass the Comprehensive Examination.
Once the student has passed all eight courses and the Comprehensive Examination, the student receives a POST Certificate along with a transcript listing all completed courses and an official congratulatory letter.
Students may obtain their courses through any POTI programme for which they are eligible. There is a fee of $70.00 USD for each POST Certificate to review and verify that the student has completed all requirements prior to issuing the POST Certificate.
