Developed with information provided by the United Nations Mine Action Service, Lesson 8 will provide you with an awareness for the danger of landmines and Unexploded Ordnance. Please note that this lesson will not teach you how to work with mines or UXO, survey mined areas, or find and remove mines. However, you will be presented with a general overview of landmines and UXO, including the different types of mines, the general threat that they pose, and the proper safety procedures to execute in mine-related incidents.
