Lesson 7 details the use and procurement of Contingent-Owned Equipment, which is equipment provided by a contributing Member State. This lesson describes the lease agreements surrounding such equipment, the responsibilities of using it, and the necessary inspections and verifications performed by UN personnel during its useage. For reference, Lesson 7 also provides a model Memorandum of Understanding between the UN and a contributing State.
