Lesson 8: Liquidation
Video Transcript
Although perhaps not as exciting as the beginning of a mission, the end of a mission requires an equal amount of attention and planning. Lesson 8 describes the liquidation of a mission, including the procedures for withdrawal of personnel, equipment, material disposal, and records management. If properly performed, the reclamation of materials and the efficient scaling down of Mission personnel can assure a speedy, cost-efficient, and smooth liquidation. If improperly executed, the same liquidation may result in waste and abuse. As such, advance planning, careful coordination, and adherence to rules and guidelines must be followed.
