The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC), Ghana, and the Peace Operations Training Insitute (POTI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the use of the POTI curriculum at KAIPTC. Under the terms of the MOU, a selection of POTI’s online courses will be used by KAIPTC as a prerequisite for its trainees and for preparation by the students before they attend KAIPTC classroom training. Hence, KAIPTC trainees will be in a better position to take full advantage of their classroom training as they will join KAIPTC with existing knowledge about the topics of their studies due to training completed through POTI.
Working with its partners, the KAIPTC undertakes and delivers research and training programmes that contribute to global peacekeeping operations. Since 2003, KAIPTC researchers and training facilitators have delivered over 207 courses in diverse aspects of peacekeeping operations to over 8547 individuals and organizations globally.
