It emphasis more on the Operational Commanders concepts than Strategic Level Commanders, which in my opinion were okay, since most of the key UN activities lies within the operational end states. I will therefore wish to advise that the course be remodeled or restructured into 3 levels of commands, that is, tactical, operational and strategic commanding united nations peacekeeping operations courses. "The course clearly elaborated discussed those important points on commanding peacekeeping operations. I value the course with high importance. I have commanded before a UN Position (at platoon level) supervising a buffer zone and I appreciate that what I am doing and applying during those period are so much related to the course. Going to a higher level of commanding a peacekeeping unit or operation would be so challenging, so this course is useful. The importance of efficient leadership, associated with a properly done tasks and understanding the cross-cutting issues are vital in the accomplishment of peacekeeping operations. I learned a lot from this course and i recommend to all military officers to take the course especially for those who are planning to join peacekeeping mission. This course is very helpful and worth learning. I rate it excellent."
