•To send periodic emails. Instructions on how to unsubscribe from such mailings are provided at the bottom of these emails. You can also visit your email preferences in your student profile or visit the unsubscribe page.

This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. The Peace Operations Training Institute typically will accept any refund requests for up to seven business days after receiving a purchase order.

To initiate a request for a refund for any online courses you have purchased, please contact us through the Help Desk.
Any textbooks must be returned in excellent condition prior to the processing of any refund request. Students must pay for any shipping costs associated with returning their textbooks to the Institute.
Transcripts are considered non-refundable after a transcript request has been fully processed or shipped.

The Peace Operations Training Institute uses the services of UPS to ship our courses to students around the world. POTI bases shipping costs on estimates provided by UPS at the time of checkout; no surplus charges are added.

POTI can ship items anywhere that UPS delivers. Every course we currently offer is available in an online/downloadable format (PDF) for students. If shipping by UPS is an issue, POTI recommends using this option. Shipping courses internationally is expensive and may be cost prohibitive for many of our students. We recommend purchasing an online/downloadable version of the course and printing it locally.
All orders are processed within one to two business days after receiving the order for courses we have in-stock. Courses that are not kept in-stock will be specially processed and may take up to two weeks before shipping due to printing requirements. Students will be contacted by our support staff if delays are anticipated. Students receive an online/downloadable version of the course immediately after they complete the checkout process.
POTI will ship your item via UPS based on your order's weight and destination. Students typically receive their order within seven business days after the courses have been shipped.
The Institute’s business days are Monday through Friday, not including major US holidays and weekends.
