We use “Oxford English” spelling in most cases: “colour” instead of “color”, “enrol” instead of “enroll”, and so on.

Q: How do I get an official transcript?

Peace Operations Training Institute can provide a list of all courses taken to any school or organization. The fee for this service is 50 USD. Cheques or money orders should be payable to Peace Operations Training Institute and mailed to our office in Virginia. Please include your mailing address and the full mailing address of your school or organization.

Q: Can I earn college credits by taking Peace Operations Training Institute courses?

Some of our courses have been reviewed for college credit by the College Credit Recommendation Service of the American Council on Education (ACE). Please consult the National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs . Your college or university will decide whether to award credit for Peace Operations Training Institute courses using the ACE National Guide and its own policies and standards.

Q: Can I earn an academic degree from Peace Operations Training Institute?

Peace Operations Training Institute does not grant academic degrees. Students who complete Peace Operations Training Institute courses can earn academic credits that may be applied towards a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from American Military University. Q: How can I become a UN peacekeeper?

There is no direct way to become a UN peacekeeping soldier because the UN does not maintain an army. UN peacekeepers are soldiers from troop-contributing nations. Check with your own military organization for further information.
