Description du cours

This two-week course teaches a wide range of International Humanitarian Law topics, emphasising the challenges that commanders will have to face. Topical themes allow concentration on pragmatic problem solving. Lectures, discussions, small group seminars, debates, readings, case studies, and practical exercises deepen the knowledge and understanding of course participants. This programme covers International Humanitarian Law today; Armed Conflicts and the International Humanitarian Law; Armed Conflicts and the International Humanitarian Law; Respect, training and implementation of international humanitarian law; and Responsibilities and accountability.
