In this lesson you will examine the operational medical support precepts and principles that structure the provision of medical care to UN personnel. Each of the four fundamental levels of medical support, first level to fourth level, will be described in full, as well as the means for evaluating evacuation between those levels of care. Finally, the lesson also explains the guidelines for holding and issuing all necessary medical equipment and supplies.
