An Introduction to the POTI E-Learning Virtual Classroom
The E-Learning Experience
Providing our distance learning courses to students located all over the world is possible through the use of our online classroom. The classroom can be considered as a Learning Management System (LMS), also referred to as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) or a Course Management System (CMS).
Every person who signs up as a student with POTI is given access to a classroom that can be considered their own.
Some of the Key Features of the E-Learning Virtual Classroom
There are numerous features and resources contained in your virtual classroom. The following is a sample of what it has to offer:
›› Access to the entire library of courses we offer our students.
›› A secure testing environment where our students can complete their course training.
›› Access to any free training resources we provide.
›› The ability to download Certificates of Completion for any course you have completed.
›› Student forums where students can write to each other about any number of subjects.
The best part about our virtual classroom is that it is free to sign up and use.
This is a big change from the way our older students have studied our e-learning distance courses.
Prior to using the virtual classroom system we required students to fill out a registration form for EACH course they were interested in studying. As you can imagine, this can quickly become burdensome to anyone interested in taking more than a few courses.
Students were also required to remember their enrollment numbers, save emails with important links, and the burden of keeping track of all their current and completed courses fell on the student to manage. Now all the student has to remember is their email address and password. We take care of the rest for you.
